My Final Thought of The Year

I'd like to take a moment to show my gratitude for your confidence and support in 2020. This has been a trying year for everyone in so many ways, many of which no one could have foreseen. My hope is that we have met your expectations of professionalism and at least helped relieve some of the stress you all felt along the way. 2020 COVID-19 Updates

With some exceptions, all employers and places of employment are required to establish and implement an effective written COVID-19 Prevention Program (CPP) pursuant to an Emergency Temporary Standard in place for COVID-19 (California Code of Regulations (CCR), Title 8, section 3205(c)). Cal/OSHA has developed this model program to assist employers with creating their own unique CPP tailored to their workplace.

Employers are not required to use this program. Employers may create their own program or create a written CPP by incorporating elements of this program into their existing Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP).

We have included an update to the CPP for your IIPP which is an agricultural appropriate modified copy of the CPP provided by Cal/OSHA. Please fill in appropriately, print and substitute the CCP we provided for you earlier this year. Additional considerations, such as; Multiple COVID-19 Infections & Outbreaks, Major Outbreaks, Prevention in Employer-Provide Housing, Prevention in Employer-Provided Transportation to and from Work and more can be provided for you upon request. 2021

The Environmental Health Department has been making rounds and visiting local growers. Please log on between November 1st and January 15th and access your CERS Account: CERS.CALEPA.CA.gov Ensure your account is accurate and up to date regarding any and all hazardous material inventory. Hazardous material training and/ or refresher hazardous material training is available to you via your retainer program. Trainings must be received annually by anniversary date- California HSC§25505 (A) 4. New employees must be trained within 6 months of hire.
